Paul Graves
Paul Graves of Wenatchee, WA has been immersed in art all of his life. The son of a professional visual artist, Paul has enjoyed making scultpures out of various media, including clay, soapstone, wood, and organic fiber materials, as seen above. Paul is also a talented musician who has written and recorded a number of bigfoot songs (coming soon to this website). As if these weren't enough, he is also an enthusiastic bigfoot field researcher who lives at his own study site in the mountains outside of town.

Paul's statue is a life-sized replica made of twisted steel and fiber materials gathered from the forest near his home. It towers a full eight feet off the ground, and its shoulders are an impressive four feet wide. At Halloween time, the sculpture can be seen peering over Paul's backyard fence, which is only six feet tall.
He used steel rebar to make the general shape of the work, and covered this with various gauge wire and chicken wire. To this layer he added burlap and sheet rock mud, both of which were darkened with various pigments to add realism, to form the skin of the animal. The hair is actually a plant material that Paul gathered from a local lake where he does bigfoot field research.
As previously mentioned, Paul is an accomplished musician, and his music will soon be featured on this website. Please check back often for updates.
