"Lookin' Late" Bigfoot Conference and Festival

As any bigfooter knows, southeast Oklahoma is a hotbed of bigfoot activity.  The terrain is rugged, mountainous, and perfect habitat for sasquatches.  And, like so many other areas where bigfoots roam, the local humans have come to celebrate the big guys' presence.

This April 18 and 19, there will be a public bigfoot festival in the Little River Valley located in the Kiamichi Mountains outside of the small town of Honobia.  The conference organizers are doing two festivals a year now, one in spring and one in fall.

McCloud 9 Bigfoot Art and Jewelry

One design of many that depict
everyone's favorite unknown biped.

Recently, the artwork of Marvin McCloud has come to my attention.  It was initially his bigfoot designs that impressed me, but now that I've become aware of his skills, his other subjects leave me no less impressed and astounded.  Marvin has excellent depictions of just about any animal you'd want on a necklace.  Bigfoot? Check!  Orange Pendek?  Check!  Mastadons?  You betcha.

You have to see this guy's stuff to believe it.  With over 3500 designs, it might take you a while, though.

HopsSquatch This Weekend!

This Sunday, I'll be presenting at HopsSquatch on what we can learn from the footprint cast data that has been documented over the last 56 years.  Remarkably consistent patterns have developed that shed light on sasquatch anatomy and behavior.  I will bring examples of casts from my collection that illustrate my hypotheses.
